The only thing that got us not so happy was when we just arrived and the person at reception was asking us about the balance as if we didn’t know that we have to pay it. But as for the stay it was awesome.

Ons het al op verskeie geleenthede by julle tuis gegaan in Eenheid 1. Ons kan al ons naam op die eenheid sit. Die plek is altyd netjies en veilig. Gonubie is ‘n veilig plekkie om vakansie te gaan hou en daar is verskeie eetplekke en winkelsentrums om te besoek. Ons was die Honeymoon couple.

Na ‘n lang pad vanaf Durban was my ouers vreeslik in hulle noppies met die verblyf! Gerieflik, waarde vir geld en goed geleë!

Ons het baie heerlik gebly en was regtig ‘n plesier om te kon ontspan. Waardeer die skoonmaakdienste; voel die span kon net elke dag skoonhanddoeke/ toiletpapier uit sit en vadoeke in eenhede los. Ons was net bietjie onseker wat die skoonmaakdienste als behels. Oor die algemeen was dit baie nice!

Halfway back to Margate from George, after a long tiring week of lawn bowls, 93 On Main was an extremely welcome stop-over for our Group. Next time there’s a tournament in the Port Elizabeth area our booking will be made immediately at this establishment.

Die TV bokant die bed het gepla en was ongemaklik. Daar is geen lugversorging nie en die dakwaaier was aan die sitkamer gedeelte van die eenheid. Dit het veroorsaak dat die nagte baie warm was aangesien die waaier nie voldoende was nie. Ons het 8/10 gegee.

Alhoewel daar ‘n houer by die ingang van 93 On Main is wat soos ‘n posbus lyk en dit moontlik ‘n houer kan wees om die sleutels te laat, was daar onsekerheid oor waar om die sleutels van die eenheid te los met ons vertrek.
‘n Groot groep gaste in die hoofhuis het baie laat in die nag ingekom, lawaai gemaak en weer baie vroeg in die oggend met hulle vertrek geraas. Dit was steurend. Parkering was tydens ons besoek beknop deurdat gaste in die hoofhuis met 2 voertuie gearriveer het en die res van die eenhede mooi moes parkeer sodat almal maklik kan in- en uitbeweeg. Ek persoonlik sou verkies dat die eienaar daaraan dink om nie troeteldiere toe te laat nie. Daar was gaste wat hulle honde saamgebring het en die het vir alles en almal geblaf!

Ons was met ‘n glimlag begroet en ons het dadelik tuis gevoel. Die kamer was netjies en skoon. Daar was niks kort nie en dit het regtig gevoel soos ‘n huis weg van ons huis af.

Generally not too bad. The only problem was that the owner hadn’t updated her records and initially thought we still owed her the balance of our accommodation cost. This was paid by us in July, so there was no excuse for this oversight. The owner did not make a big issue of this matter however.

Daar was ‘n misverstand met die bespreking en hulle wou ons twee kinders op een uitvoubank laat slaap. Op ons versoek het hulle ons na die hoofwoning geskuif en ons het heerlik daar gebly teen ‘n baie redelike prys. Die aanvanklike indruk wat die plek skep is nie baie goed nie. Ek dink hulle kan bietjie aan die straataansig werk. Binne was dit egter pragtig en skoon met die lekkerste katoenlakens op goeie kwaliteit beddens. Dankie!

Lovely stay in lovely safe and secure environment the only criticism is the daily replenishment of coffee, tea, milk, sugar and toilet paper did not take place. Maybe more staff to assist with this?
